July 4th Events in Phoenix

Staying in town for the fourth of July? While the weather may get up to 105, that doesn’t mean we have to spend the 4th inside. In fact, there are a lot of events happening and some are even air-conditioned!

Tempe Town Lake Festival

Gates open at 5:00
Tempe Beach Park

Enjoy some BBQ and fry bread while watching this firework spectacular! Yum!!! Numerous food vendors, live entertainment and activities will be taking place before the fireworks start once the sun goes down. Be sure to bring a blanket or chairs to lay on the grass to watch the show!

4th of Zooly

Phoenix Zoo
7pm – 10pm
Reservations required. $45 a ticket. 3-12 $35 and 2 and younger are free.

Spend the evening with the kids at the Phoenix Zoo. Animals, bounce houses and music! Does it get any better for a ki?!. While…yes it can! Towards the end of the night, everyone will head towards the back of the zoo to enjoy the view of the Tempe firework spectacular.

Fabulous Phoenix Fourth

Steele Indian School Park
6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

One of the largest firework shows in the state! Stop by and enjoy the two stages of entertainers and numerous food vendors. There will be plenty of activities for the kiddo’s including a water spray zone! This is a non-alcoholic event that is free to all! Fireworks start around 9:30.

Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration

Westworld of Scottsdale
4:00 pm – 9:30 pm
$10 in advance, $15 at door, $5 for Scottsdale residents
6 & younger are free

Leave it up to Scottsdale to one up all the other fireworks shows in town!

Pony rides. A petting zoo. A 20 foot tall ferris wheel! Fortnite themed food. An adrenaline rush obstacle course! A dog stunt show!!! Whaaaat?!?!  And there’s TON more! Plus…it’s all in a fully air conditioned 300,000 square foot equestrian center! Oh…and did I mention fireworks?!

Arizona Celebration of Freedom

Mesa Amphitheater
6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Enjoy live entertainment, activity zones and a beer garden in this 4th of July celebration! Fireworks will begin around 9:30.

Fourth at the Fountain

Fountain Park
6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Grab your blankets and chairs and head out to the fountain to enjoy this neighborhood firework show!  With a live DJ, bounce houses, a rock climbing wall and food vendors, this is the way to relax and celebrate! Fireworks should begin around 9ish…

Peoria All-American Festival

Peoria Sports Complex
5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

If you think you can take home cornhole glory…then you best enter this 4th of July cornhole tournament! Along with cornhole games, there will be food eating contests, family-friendly activities and live entertainment! The firework show will begin around 9:15.

July 4th Fireworks Spectacular

Tumbelweed Park, Chandler, AZ
6:30 – 9:30
Free but….$5 (cash only) parking fee

Enjoy Chandler’s largest firework show at this neighborhood park, sponsored by the City of Chandler.

Star Spangled Fourth

Goodyear Ballpark
6:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Enjoy an evening of water slides, bounce houses, a zip-line and a carnival swing! The kids will be loving this event, including the 20 minute firework show beginning at 9:00.  Be sure to bring a blanket and enjoy the show!

July 5th

Arizona Diamondbacks Fireworks Spectacular

Chase Field

Come enjoy the ultimate American past time while celebrating ‘Merica! Enjoy the baseball game of the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the Colorado Rockies with a firework celebration afterwards.

However you decide to spend your 4th of July, have fun and enjoy the time!
