Firefighters Rescue 2 Hikers on Halloween Night in Phoenix

The Phoenix Fire Department was busy on their Halloween shifts after rescuing 2 hikers from 2 popular hiking trails.

The first occurred on Camelback, when a hiker fell on the Echo Canyon trail along Camelback Mountain. Due to the location where he fell, a helicopter rescue was necessary, where the stable but weak man was transported to the hospital.

The second rescue attempt happened along Piestewa Peak, after a female hiker lost her way on the trail after the sun went down. She was uninjured and the rescuers were able to help her back down.
